Job Description

  • Check the action plan in OnGuard and guide the cc team to take the necessary action accordingly
  • Review the completeness of CC team action plan and and evaluate any requirement of further follow up
  • Ensure the received cheque or cash from customer bank into company bank account within a same day
  • Review the reports/returns on debtors and collections before submit to Finance Manager
  • Track the service plan invoice billing progress, ensure timeliness and accuracy of verifying invoice and service report prior to sending out to customer
  • Update the call list once every invoice issue to customer
  • Assist in identifying the unallocated deposit.
  • Coordinate on the inter departmental issue regarding billing and collection cycle
  • Check the customer billing in Navs against service plan
  • Monitor amp; follow up Government invoices that need to be loaded to Tafis System.
  • Update Top 20 NKA in country review pack
  • Review the document filing process and provide improvement if any
  • Any ad hoc project assign by superior

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Financial Manager, preferable in billing amp; credit control management.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Familiar with Microsoft Navisions system (Optional)
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Optional: Mandarin (Added advantage but not compulsory)
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Diploma, Advanced diploma or degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
